Quick answers to the things parents ask most.

How do I get all of the art out?

Open Settings and choose Export everything. You get a zip with a folder for each child and school year, every original at full size, and the titles and captions in a spreadsheet. Or choose Save to Photos to put every original in a Fridge Gallery album. Exporting is free, always.

I'm getting a new iPhone. Will the art come with me?

The art lives inside the app on your iPhone, so it moves across with an iPhone backup or when you set up the new phone from the old one. To be safe, export everything first and keep the zip somewhere you trust.

Our school year starts in a different month.

Open Settings, then School year starts, and pick the month your school year starts. Every piece is sorted into the right year straight away.

How do I remove a child?

Open Settings, then Children, and choose the child. Removing a child keeps their art, and it is still included when you export. If there's only one child, there's nothing to remove until you add another.

How do I print the yearly book?

On the Shelf, open a school year and tap Make the book. Choose a cover, untick anything you want to leave out, then create the PDF. It is 8 × 8 inches with bleed, at print quality, so any shop that prints square photo books can print it. Making the PDF is part of the Family plan; the preview is free.

The animations make me dizzy.

Fridge Gallery follows Reduce Motion (Settings, Accessibility, Motion on your iPhone): cards hang straight and new art appears without the drop. This website does the same and shows still pictures instead of the 3D kitchen.
